    CONSTRUCTION UPDATES MAY 2011

Two cranes mark the site of Central Park right now, with a third crane - to service construction of Park Lane - arriving in June.

    ONE CENTRAL PARK

    • Concrete pours continue, with floor slabs now poured to B2.
    • Jump forms wrap the central lift cores of both West and East towers - the cores are two levels ahead of the concrete pouring, and each jump form is wrapped in boards to protect the construction crew working within the core. We've wrapped these jump cores in some vividly coloured signage, which will be visible above the site hoardings from early June.

    PARK LANE

    • Basement excavation of Park Lane will be complete by the first week of June.
    • In-ground services are then put in place for draining and other infrastructure.
    • Watpac will then begin concrete pours for the lower levels, scheduled for late June/early July.

    PARK AND INFRASTRUCTURE

    • Roadworks to the southern part of Central Park - known as Stage 1.2 infrastructure - will begin in June, by Christies Civil. This 6 month stage of works includes roadworks to O'Connor Street, Irving Street and new traffic lights at Regent Street and Abercrombie Street. This is complex work, impacting on neighbours and traffic movements, and will involve ongoing communication with affected residents and businesses.
    • We are now hoping to receive final sign-off of landscape works for the main park at the end of may, which will allow the landscape work to be tendered and commence in June/July. The main park should now be complete by the end of this year.

Frasers would like to note that construction work currently underway on Gould Street, behind Kensington Street, is being undertaken by Ceerose and is not associated in any way with Central Park or Frasers Property.
