Carlisle

Carlisle Municipal (4M3) is a city owned general aviation airport in east central Arkansas. Located 2 miles northeast of the city center, the airport occupies 640 acres. The airport is served by two runways: Runway 9-27 is the primary runway, measuring 4,500 feet in length, and Runway 18-36 is the crosswind runway, measuring 4,500 feet in length. Both runways are served by full length parallel taxiways that connect to the apron area. Runway 9 is served by two non-precision instrument approaches, while Runway 27 has a visual approach. The city provides 100LL fuel, including self service, 24 hours, with a credit card. Aircraft storage is provided by hangars and parking by apron tie-downs. The airport is conveniently located near Interstate 40. General aviation operations include corporate, law enforcement, flight training, recreational, and significant agricultural application activities.
