Thanks to everyone concerned with StreetSmart. Many young people arrive at Tandana homeless, often with just the clothes they are wearing. The money so generously donated will be used to provide a 'starter pack' containing linen, personal needs, basic food items and cleaning products.

StreetSmart's generosity enables Urban Seed to bring its dreams of creative education on the difficult issue of homelessness to reality. For this our organisation and those we support are extremely grateful.

Many thanks for the grant for our Orana Upskilling Program. We're all very excited with this project as it'll give the homeless young people we work with, the opportunity to give them real skills to be able to turn their lives around. It'll show these young people that people really care and that this has been made possible through StreeSmart.

Thanks to the support of StreetSmart we've been able to develop an Independent Living Skills Program to arm young people with the skills to maintain independent living. The support from StreetSmart is unique and has been pivitol in enabling us to develop our service to encompass homeless young people's needs in a holistic and lasting way.

Thanks so much for our grant for the River Nile Sailing Home project. Our Drama Group Project is going to help so many of the young one’s in the Glebe and Inner City area.  We will be working on Living Skills and the ramifications of domestic violence over the generations and how to break the cycle.  Thanks so much for helping Elsie Women’s Refuge make a difference in young lives

The team of staff and volunteers at Fitted for Work were absolutely thrilled to receive a StreetSmart grant again this year for our Women Exiting Prison Program. This is a very practical program which helps women pre and post release to build the confidence and skills to transition into sustainable employment. As well as financial security, work brings an important sense of hope, dignity and social connectedness. This grant will directly transform the lives of many marginalised woman and their families.
