Trinidad and Tobago: ‘Heart examination’ at Witnesses convention
People may often hear the expression follow your heart but rarely hear safeguard your heart. The latter phrase will be heard many times during this year’s Safeguard Your Heart District Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Jehovah’s Witnesses feel all, including non-Witnesses, will benefit from the positive message and practical suggestions which will be highlighted at their convention.
The first of the two three-day events will be held at the Buccoo Integrated Facility, Buccoo Village, Tobago, from July 13 to 15 and the successive weekend July 20 to 22, at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port-of-Spain. It will highlight biblical references to the heart. Programme parts also will encourage self-scrutiny and reflection, amounting to an examination of one’s own figurative heart.
Through discourses, Bible readings and presentations, and even a live play, attendees will see how protecting the figurative heart can help them to make wise decisions, improve family life, strengthen their personal relationship with God and find true happiness.
