A few statistical notes from Sunday’s win over the Steelers…


  • Adrian Peterson now has 20 games with 2 rushing TDs. The Vikings are 14-6 in those games.
  • Adrian Peterson has 20 runs of 50 yards and 13 runs of 60 yards in his career.
  • Adrian Peterson has 81 rushing TDs since 2007, most in the NFL and 20 ahead of Michael Turner.
  • Adrian Peterson has 12 TD runs of 60 yards, most of any player since 1940 (Jim Brown 2nd with 9).
  • Jared Allen ranks 2nd for most sacks by a player in his first 10 seasons with 119.5.
  • With 12 FGs of 50 yards, Blair Walsh has broken Ryan Longwell’s record for 50-yard FGs as a Viking. Walsh is also 12 for 12 from 50 .
  • Greg Jennings has 7 career 70 yard receptions, 2nd behind only Jerry Rice’s 9 since the merger.
  • Jerome Simpson had 100 yards receiving for the 2nd time this season and the 7th time in his career.
  • Chad Greenway logged his first game with both an interception and a sack.
