English: This is the Fatimid version of the sword Zulfiqaar which has been carved on the Gates of Old Cairo City, namely Bab-ul-Futuh. The Sword belonged to Ameerul Mo'mineen Ali ibn Abi Talib and after him with his progeny, the Imams of the Shias. Even as majority of the Muslims have imagined towards the double blade and the moon shape of the sword. The Fatimid Imam, Imam Moiz SA and under his permission, The Commander in Chief of the Fatimid Army, Badral Jamali AQ, built the Gates and got the image of the sword carved in the stone. This image shows the sword with the shield and the unsheathed sword without the shield. For Further Reference check the image of the Bab-ul-Futuh elsewhere on wikipedia for confirmation of this graphical depiction.
