The second Norway Tamil Film Festival held in norway capital Oslo from 20th to 25th April.
Tamil film directors including Cheran, Radha Mohan, Prabhu Solomon, Vetrimartan have attended the festival. The Juries and audience of the event have announced the awards for the films participated in the festival. Rajini's block buster movie Enthiran and Vijay direrected Madrasapattanam grabbed more awards in this festival
The winners of Tamilar Award 2011:The festival saw ‘Enthiran’, ‘Madrasapattinam’ and ‘Mynaa’ winning awards under various categories. Those honoured on the stage include Director.Cheran, Radha Mohan and Prabhu Solomon, Vettimaran, SeenuRamasamy,Santhosh, among others.

According to the announcement Feb 25th is the last date for submitting short films, according to the announcement, all the creators and film makers must send their short films, documentaries and musical videos on or before the last date mentioned in this notification.
