Cleaning Toys with an All-Natural Disinfectant Rinse

Although Jayna is far past the stage of putting toys in her mouth, I still feel the need to keep them clean and germ free.  This morning she wanted to play outside so I decided to turn the chore of washing toys into a fun water activity!  We played and cleaned simultaneously – win, win!
We threw all her waterproof toys in a large plastic bin, filled it with soapy water and got splashing!
I also threw in a wash towel, which she thought was fun to “play” with.
Then we rinsed them in a mixture of h2o and 8 drops each of tea tree oil and lavender essential oil.  These oils have antiviral, antibiotic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties making them a great all-natural disinfectant!
And lastly, they got tossed onto beloved pink towel to sun bathe.
