Hjerim Improved

Description
--Incompatible with Hearthfire DLC! Sorry--

Adds a new hidden smithing room and extra storage to Hjerim, as well as various other tweaks to improve the house. No new loading screens.

This also removes any blood stains and the altar from 'blood on the ice' quest for anyone who didn't get them removed after buying the house.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19694 - SkyrimNexus version is now up.

WARNING: Before installation you should remove any items from the chest at the foot of your bed, and the barrel at the entrance. You should also loot all the soul gems lying around in the alchemy room if you haven't already. All other items in chests/mannequins are safe.

Leaving the house and coming back in again should fix any bugs/out of place objects after installation.

I've never used any other house mods as they all seem to have loading screens between rooms which I found really annoying, so this just gives a small extension to Hjerim and gives it some much needed extra equipment storage. My first mod, just playing around with the creation kit. Tell me about any bugs, I can't guarantee I can fix them but I'll give them a look. All suggestions are welcome.

Probably incompatible with any other Hjerim overhauls. Addons that make small changes to it should work fine.

Complete list of changes:

-Added a second secret room, similar to the alchemy/enchanting room, for smithing. It is behind a wardrobe right next to the enchanting/alchemy room and contains a forge, smelter, grindstone, workbench, tanning rack, a chest and a couple of weapon racks.

-Removes bloodstains and the altar if left over from 'blood on the ice' quest.

-Adds a wood chopping block outside of Hjerim in the front garden.

-Adds an enchanting satchel and an apothecary's satchel to the crafting tables in the hidden alchemy room.

-Added a shield rack, a weapon rack, two extra mannequins and two display cases to the upstairs armoury.

-Improved the lighting in the enchanting room and in the upstairs armoury so the house doesn't look like a cave.

-Redecorated the bedroom.

-Various clutter changes such as nicer rugs etc.

i downloaded it and I liked it but not that much. The problem is that when I uninstaled the mod it's still there, I don't know if happened to anyone but I don't know what to do so can anyone help me get rib of this permintly. I know spelled things wrong and I don't care

I just use it for the extra displays because of lack of Hearthfire compatibility, the flickering wall and lack of any extension is bothersome but considering the lack of hearth I'd need to go to the forge most of the time anyways so I just ignore it.

I actually don't mind the fact that it's not Hearthfire compatible, since I don't care to use this house as a family home. As nice as the house is, Windhelm just isn't the nicest of cities to raise children. So I never bother buying the children's bedroom. Also, I'm not using Hjerim as my primary estate, so the simplicity, and the fact that it's not over-the-top like so many house mods makes this mod ideal for my purposes. The only thing that seems to be missing from this house is a proper hearth, which is strange considering the environment the house is in. For heat sources there is the cooking hearth and firepit in the kitchen (and forge/smelter) but again, no proper hearth in either the livingroom or bedroom. Granted, I'm not really sure where you'd put one.... At any rate, this is a good mod. Endorsed.

hey man, just wanted to say that if you completed blood on the ice already, (wich should be done before aquiring hjerim) You can talk to the steward of Ulfric and he gives you an potion to clean the house if the murderers mess for 500 gold, so i dont think
