Prem, who was last seen in Prem's Adda in 2012, is back with Dasavala. The movie deals with the story of Sathya (Prem) and Ranga (Rangayana Raghu), who will be working as the tourist guide in the historical place - Badami, Aihole and Patadakallu.

Director Ramesh seems to be influenced from Guruprasad's critically acclaimed movie Director Special, where he tries to unite the people from different background, and hunger of love and affection.

Accidentally, Sathya and Ranga meets Vijay, who will be physically challenged, but enthusiastic in painting, and he will be brought to their home. In the same way, their home becomes a refugee camp for a village girl, who will be forced into prostitution; a musician, who will be thrown out of his family; a women, who willingly gets separated from her family; and Aishwarya (Akshara Menon), who will be forced by her step mother to marry her brother.

Aishwarya, who acts as a mentally challenged girl, falls in love with Sathya. Will Sathya comes to know about Aishwarya's love? Will these people, who are hungry for love and affection, return to their home? Answer for all these should be seen on screen.

Director-actor Prem's Dasavala has been getting a poor response from the audience.

Prem

Though Prem directed the action thrillers like Shivaraj Kumar's Jogi, Joggaya and Darshan's Kariya, he has completely failed in the fight and action scenes in this movie. It's time for him to say 'action and cut'.

Akshara Menon

Akshara, though looks cute, doesn't have good on-screen chemistry with the lead actor. She has given poor performance as a mentally challenged girl.

Comedian

The only highlight of the movie, Rangayana Raghu is successful enough in creating a lively environment in the movie, with his accent and comic timing.

Supporting Roles

Supporting roles, which include veteran actress Hema Chaudhary, Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Shobraj, Pushpa Swamy and others, have done their part well.

Music

Gurukiran has successfully mixed the folk songs with latest instruments. Compared to other songs, background score of the movie is attractive.

Direction

Director MS Ramesh has completely failed in choosing the lead and the screenplay. But he should be appreciated for showing mind blowing locations in and around Badami, Aihole and Patadakallu.

Verdict

The movie is not at all up to the mark. It is better if Prem wears a director's hat in his next movie. At least now, he should give up his acting desire and show his talent in direction, with superstars like Shivaraj Kumar, Darshan, Puneet and others.
