        “Jersey Strong,” By After The Reign, Declared the Winner of the New Jersey Soundoff Contest

        Attention, New Jersey! The votes are in for the Jersey Shore Soundoff and the winner has been chosen. With over 230 entries, the competition was fierce, and after two rounds of voting (thanks to you and our celebrity judges), we’re excited to announce “Jersey Strong,” by After The Reign, is the winner!

        Recognized as New Jersey’s premier country band, After The Reign’s Jersey Shore roots run deep, with all six members calling the region their home. Impacted personally by Superstorm Sandy, the members spend most of their days helping to rebuild the coast’s communities while celebrating the recovery efforts at night entertaining New Jersey residents with their music.

        “We are honored to be recognized by the people of New Jersey and Stronger than the Storm for our contribution to the recovery through the best way we know how – our music,” said After The Reign’s John Strevens, the writer of the winning song. “Our song pays tribute to the hardships that everyone endured, as well as the progress we have made as loud, proud New Jerseyans.”

        As the winner of the Soundoff competition, After The Reign will open for Grammy-nominated and five-time Platinum recording artists the Spin Doctors when they perform live at the Stone Pony on September 7th. The Stone Pony, a world-famous venue in Asbury Park, NJ, is credited for jump-starting the careers of some of New Jersey’s most famous musicians, including Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. Come out and join Stronger than the Storm as we belt out the lyrics to the best of the Spin Doctors, including their big hits, “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” and “Two Princes.”

         

         

        Doors open at 7:00PM. While all of the tickets made available to the public via the Stronger than the Storm Eventbrite page have been claimed, there will be a very limited amount available at the door on a first come, first served basis.
