Darth Maul is going on 'The Apprentice'?

    Oh I crack me up.

But seriously, there's some great work here, guys. A big pat on the back to everyone involved!

I've updated the thread to remind people to check out the galleries before voting, as there are some great bios to set the scene and some WIP pics to show the immense amount of work in resculpting some of these pieces.

    On another note...

If anyone wants to divulge any abandoned projects for the Twisted Timelines competition, please do... AS LONG AS THEY DON'T HELP PEOPLE IDENTIFY ANY ENTRY YOU SUBMITTED. For example, I don't want [insert name here] posting an unfinished Rocketeer 2050, because that'll be a dead give away to the creator of the Wild West Rocketeer. You get my drift...

I really bit off more than I could chew with Pianola Soundwave (aka Player Piano Soundwave), based on Brian Kissenger's design. I will complete it, but it was too ambitious to complete alongside real-life commitments. An early WIP pic was posted last night to Facebook and can be found here:

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...8&l=a5a138e054

A second WIP was a Steampunk Grimlock (T-Rex style) which got as far as cutting up the donors, but I get bogged down in working out the transformation for too long. Again, another WIP I want to finish despite missing the competition

Got any abandoned WIP or ideas? Feel free to post them. It'll keep the thread visible and current at least

Awesome entries, and hat's off to all of the artists for finishing them in such a great manner. It's easy to pick 8 favourites, much less so to pick only 3, though!

Anyway, at first I couldn't really think of anything to make for this contest, but then I saw this and I decided to jump right in.

Like Jimster, I couldn't find the time anymore and I had to withdraw from the contest. So, now this is just another project in the works
