BD Entertainment Featured In Monsters University

The Blue Devils are excited to announce their collaboration with Pixar in their latest film, Monsters University. The BD Entertainment drum line is featured in the soundtrack for the film alongside a star-studded list of musicians, including singer-songwriter Randy Newman. The performed arrangements were written by Blue Devils percussion caption head Scott Johnson and recorded by current members and alumni for the Blue Devils at Skywalker Ranch this past spring. BD Entertainment has performed at Pixar headquarters in a total of 6 events at the request of the booming film company.

BD Entertainment, a professional entertainment company, is a program of the Bay Area based BD Performing Arts organization. The BDPA is home to the fifteen-time DCI World Champion Blue Devils A Corps, three-time DCI Open Class Champion B Corps, C Corps, Winter Guards, and the Diablo Wind Symphony.

Monsters University will appear in theaters on June 21. You can also preorder your copy of the Blue Devils debut Pixar soundtrack set for release on June 18.
