A cool front raced through the region today, with generally light showers totaling less than a tenth of an inch. Winds have kicked up behind the front and chilly air is streaming into the region.

Through Tonight: Breezy and cold. Lows range from 34-39 (suburbs-city), with winds from the northwest at 10-20 mph. Wind chills will be near freezing early in the morning.

Tomorrow (Friday): Partly to mostly sunny, but those northwest winds make it one of the colder-feeling days of the fall thus far. Highs range from 46-51, with winds from the northwest at 10-20 mph.
