Tsitsikamma Backpackers in the Stormsriver Village is not just accommodation – it is an experience in an unique and eco-friendly tranquil environment, surrounded by the magnificent Tsitsikamma forest and mountains. The lodge, 4 star and Greenline accredited, is easily accessible just off the N2 and on the Baz Bus Route – 65km from Plettenberg Bay and 110km from St Francis Bay.

Accommodation varies from luxury double en suite units, double tented garden units or dorm accommodation in our one acre garden with rolling lawns and unsurpassed views of the mountains. We cater for the discerning traveler who wishes to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. Daily breakfast and dinner is served with vegetarian friendly options. Our bar and entertainment area is the perfect place to sit back and relax after an adventure filled day – planning the next!

We offer free star gazing as well as guided hikes. We are situated close to numerous nearby activities such as the Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours, Tsitsikamma Eezi bikes, Black Water Tubing, horse riding, the Tsitsikamma National Park and the famous Bloukrans Bungy jump.

50% Deposit will be required within 7 days of reservation being made
Balance will be required 30 days prior to arrival
Full pre payment will be required at time of booking for reservations made within 30 days of arrival

Cancellations

Peak Season (5 December – 10 January)

Only written cancellations will be accepted. Ensure to receive an acknowledgment of cancellations from reservations
50% of fee is refunded if cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival
No refund if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to arrival
