Fairness has nothing to do with it, it is the market price. When he doesn't want to be there let him go. It was 28 or nothing

Essendon might uncover a gem with 28. But they have lost a gem in Crameri.
So Dogs the big winner in this trade by that logic(they have the bird in hand). Upside for Essendon is cap space freed up.
