New Dates for 2013 Africa Cup for Nations and Congress Announced

AfHFThe African Hockey Federation has announced that the Africa Cup for Nations for both men and women will now take place in Nairobi during the period November 18-24, 2013. The AfHF Congress has been scheduled for Friday November 23, 2013. The African Hockey Federation re-opened the entries for participation to all National Associations once again setting a deadline of Friday October 18.

 

It is expected that Egypt which confirmed its eagerness to re-enter the competition will confirm their entry.

Meanwhile, all the National Association officials confirmed for the competitions are also due to confirm their availability to officiate during the new dates. The Africa Cup for Nations which was originally scheduled for late September was rescheduled to early October and later postponed due to the Nairobi Westgate Shopping Mall terror attack.
