Tallard is the kingdom of air sports, especially parachuting and paragliding, that attracts fanatics from around Europe. Other than the Tour, the Roman city also welcomed several stage finishes of the Grand Prix du Midi-Libre, the last having been won by Damien Nazon in 1998.
