Terrible mastering? It's not loudness war mastered, it sounds great....fuck peak limiting/compression, these days idiots think if it's not as loud as the rest of their crappy mp3 collection on their iPoos, it's terrible mastering. Use your volume buttons or knob, this may come as a shock but many music playback devices have them for a reason. Low volume doesn't equal terrible mastering. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war Songs that are on the 2007 collection but were not on the 1975 collection are: "Tell Me" "Heart of Stone" "Play with Fire" "I'm Free" "Mother's Little Helper" "Dandelion" "2000 Light Years from Home" "No Expectations" "Let It Bleed" "You Can't Always Get What You Want" "Brown Sugar" "Wild Horses" mainly from Let It Bleed & Beggars Banquet? What?

Good track listing, but the majority of us own all the albums many times over lol. Sad to hear the mastering sucks it be a good entry point for younger people that havent lucked into hearing the cream of the Stones discography yet.

Terrible mastering. Lowest volume I've ever heard on an album this century. Roy Carr compiled the original as a 3 record set but the compliers have ignored his track listing and added mainly songs from Beggar's Banquet and Let it Bleed as bonus tracks. Buyer beware. Only good point is the original stereo mix of Honky Tonk Women unavailable since the UK (vinyl) version of Through the Past Darkly.
