Mannar Mathai Speaking was released more than a decade ago. However, the film's sequences and dialogues are still popular among movie buffs. Now, director Mamas is all set to bring the whole team back again to screen, and actress Aparna Gopinath will join the crew as the leading lady. The movie, yet untitled, is expected to start rolling in a few days and will be a comedy thriller.

"Aparna will play the role of a girl from Bangalore. She will be sporting a new look in the film," says the director, who adds that Innocent, Sai Kumar, Mukesh and Janardhanan will be reprising their roles from the previous film.
Vani Vishwanath, who played a conwoman-turned- actress, was the heroine in Mannar Mathai Speaking, a sequel to the hit film, Ramji Rao Speaking.
The movie is to be shot majorly in Ezhupunna in Kochi and Vagamon. Rahul Raj will score music for the lyrics penned by debutant Nikesh Chembilodu.
So, will the long mane loving Malayalis get to see Aparna in such a get up in this film? "Her look is a surprise," says the director.
