Why isn’t anyone discussing the NHS?

The NHS is the sacred cow of British politics. The three so-called ‘big parties’ refuse to discuss real healthcare reform, even though our ailing system is beginning to crumble.

Like all state monopolies, the NHS is inefficient, uncompetitive and stuffed with bureaucrats. It is now the second largest employer in the world, bettered only by Walmart.

It is increasingly clear that the NHS, in its present form, is not fit for purpose in the 21st Century, thus change is required sooner rather than later.

The report linked here comes from the General Healthcare Group, which runs over seventy hospitals and clinics that are visited by over one million people every year.

I believe this report would be a sensible starting point for change.
