President's Letter

Dear Skyline Members,

We have some exciting news!

We have hired a Club Manager - Ian Hintz.  Ian has done a fantastic job as Tennis Director and brought some great ideas about how to improve the overall operations of the club; I look forward to the upcoming season.  Ian is excited about the opportunity and is already getting started with hiring next year's staff over the holidays.

In addition, we have also hired an Aquatics Director - Terry Trieu.  Terry has a couple decades worth of experience coaching swimming as well as triathletes.  He has coached a large number of Skyline swimmers over the years and will bring that familiarity and new energy to the aquatics programs.

With the hiring of Ian as Club Manager, we are in need of a new Tennis Director.  That position will be posted in the coming week and we have already met with one well-qualified candidate.  Paul Wuthrich, Christy Jones, Chris Burckhardt and Ian Hintz are helping with this interview process.

I would like to thank Carolyn Weiss, Conn Flanigan, Bob Sullivan and Marco Capra for their support in the Club Manager search process.  They spent a great deal of time in finding high quality candidates via networking, reviewing and interviewing the candidates, and having an open mind when making a decision.  The group was committed to finding the best candidate available for the future of Skyline and I believe we have succeeded.

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Ian and Terry to their new positions.

Happy Holidays!
Todd Young, Board President
