LAS VEGAS –We’ve been scouring the show floor in Las Vegas for the last several days, and we’ve seen some pretty impressive mobile tech and gear, including groundbreaking laptops, unique tablets and powerful smartphones. But now we want to know what you think of these product announcements. What gets your engine revving? Which of these devices can you almost feel in your greedy hands, if you close your eyes and wish hard enough? Show your desire by voting in our Readers’ Choice: Best of CES 2012 poll below.
First, let’s meet the competition.
Acer Aspire S5: This 2.9-pound ultrabook is only 0.59 inches thick. To maintain its thin profile and provide much-needed connectivity options at the same time, the Acer Aspire S5 has a “MagicFlip” I/O panel that flips out from behind the hinge to reveal HDMI, USB 3.0 and Thundebolt ports.
ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF700T: This upscaled version of last year’s Transformer Prime TF201 has all the slim, quad-core Tegra 3 goodness of the previous model, but adds a 1920 x 1200-pixel display and support for 1080p playback.
FXI Cotton Candy: This USB drive fits in a whole dual-core computer, which we’ve now seen running Ubuntu or Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. It can also be plugged into a monitor for dual-screen support, or other device via a microUSB port in the side.
HP Envy 14 Spectre: This Ultrabook breaks the mold, sporting a head-turning glass design on the screen, lid and palm rest, making the $1,399 HP Envy 14 Spectre one of the most unique laptops ever. HP packs in lots of premium features, including a higher-resolution display, powerful Beats audio and even NFC capability.
Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga: Due to ship at the Windows 8 launch, Lenovo’s groundbreaking IdeaPad Yoga notebook gives you the best of the tablet and laptop world, as its 13.3-inch clamshell design has a flexible lid that folds back 360 degrees, allowing you to use its touchscreen as a slate tablet or even a home Internet appliance.
Nokia Lumia 900: Windows Phone gets serious with the Nokia Lumia 900. We enjoyed our alone time with this AT&T LTE 4G smartphone, which will debut later this year. On top of Microsoft’s unique OS, Nokia will bundle its Nokia Drive app for free GPS navigation, as well as exclusive CNN and ESPN apps, which weren’t up and running on our device.
Samsung Galaxy Note: We’ve been drooling over this pint-sized slate for some time, and now it’s U.S. bound. Officially heading to AT&T, this handset sports a huge 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with a class-leading 1280 x 800 pixels. Plus, Samsung bundles a digital pen for taking notes using its S Memo app.

I have been around PCs for 30 years. Based on my pass 30 years experience around PCs, Lenovo products are my 1st choice, when I am thinking to buy PCs for my family. When I compair Lenovo products vs Apple/HP/Dell/Acer/etc, Lenovo products has the best Service & support, with highest product quality.
In net, current Lenovo products are the only products that I am willing to buy for myself &/or my family.

I think that Lenovo is doing a great worldwide advertising work but that their people do not have the knowledge to gain the market share properly. At least here in Argentina it seems they do not care about the brand, in fact their work is awful
