Rockford IL, United States (2008 – present)
Founded by former members of Your City/State in 2008, Rockford, Illinois’ Joie de Vivre are nostalgic to say the least, having found themselves at the forefront of the 90’s midwest emo revival.
Splitting their time and members between Rockford and Chicago, Joie De Vivre has had a few different line-ups over the last six years but has stayed consistently active (except for that one time they broke up).
They are currently writing for full length record due out in 2014 and can be found playing the occasional show in the upper midwest. There are plans to tour the U.S. and Europe again this coming year.
