Sandalwood's onscreen bad boy Tilak Shekar joins the team of Ninnindale — a Kannada film starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Erica Fernandes. The team has just returned from a long shooting schedule in the US, and will soon be heading to Bangkok for the next schedule.
Tilak, who has been known for his bad boy image on screen since his debut in the industry, has been cast alongside Puneeth for the second time in his career with this one. "I play a cop from the New York Police Department (NYPD) in Ninnindale. This is the second time I am working with Puneeth after Ram. In Ram, I played the negative lead," says Tilak. However, the actor refuses to confirm if his new signing has shades of grey. Instead, he says, "There are a lot of heroes giving negative roles a shot these days. We are actors at the end of the day, and we shouldn't be playing just one sort of character. It is fun to figure out and portray the other side of life too."
