MANJERI: Fomer FC Kochin player Sushanth Mathew, who later played for top clubs like Mahindra United, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, joined I-League club Rangdajied United on loan from IMG Reliance on Sunday.
The 32-year old, who plays both in defence and midfield positions, will boost Rangdajied's chances in Federation Cup, feels coach Santosh Kashyap.
"Sushanth is a talented player and I know him very well. He always comes out with hundred per cent effort and that will help us in Federation Cup and remaining I-League matches," said Kashyap.
Sushanth too was delighted after joining Rangdajied. "I have joined the squad on Sunday and will train with the team on Monday morning. This is definitely a big chance and I am looking forward to it," said Sushanth.
