Nelson De La Nuez: As one of the world's top pop artists today, Nelson De La Nuez is a born iconoclast, whose unique juxtaposition of pop and surrealism of America’s rich culture and history withstand the test of time.  His artwork is difficult to categorize in one genre. It is contemporary, yet wickedly satirical, pop and surreal all blended together, as if a dream and a nightmare collided simultaneously. Listed on the “Who’s Who List of the Most Collected Artists of Our Time,” his works are original, bold and outspoken.  The artist is known for his distinctive, trademark style called “Art on the Edge,” which is creating art on all sides of the canvas.

De La Nuez’s artwork is hanging in some of the most prominent, private collections of well known celebrities, directors, producers, comedians, corporations and art collectors.  His art has been featured on countless television shows, including, to name a few:  VH1: Fabulous Life of: “The Latest in Billionaire Home Décor,” “Inside Edition,” MTV “Cribs,” HGTV “Designer’s Challenge,” E! “Celebrity Favorites," "America's Next Top Model" mansion interior design, "David Tutera's, " My Fair Wedding," and “TMZ: Michael Jackson’s Final Art Purchase.”  Several pieces of his artwork were the last to enter into the prestigious collection of Michael Jackson before his untimely death.

He was an official 70th Anniversary artist for the Wizard of Oz film and created original artwork for the celebration of the iconic movie, one of which, “Ditching Dorothy,” was forever immortalized on a limited edition sheet of US postage stamps.

He contributes his art to charity auctions for a wide variety of causes, but the ones closest to his heart are those that help animals and children because he feels, "They are the innocent ones, who cannot speak for themselves."  He continues to raise money for charities through his artwork and appearances.
