Delays on Metro’s Red Line

It’s up, it’s down. It’s up, it’s down.

That seems to be the message Monday morning on the Red Line.

Just before 9 a.m., Metro sent out an e-mail alert warning of another problem — this time it involved a disabled train at Dupont Circle. The transit agency warned riders to expect delays to Glenmont.

“It’s another Monday,” said Dan Stessel, a spokesman for Metro.

Normal service is back on the Red Line after a problem at Union Station.

There were earlier problems on the Red Line but those were quickly resolved. But there is another problem.

Riders should expect delays to Shady Grove because of an earlier train malfunction at Union Station.

Normal service is back on the Red Line after an earlier disabled train at the Wheaton station.

Riders on Metro’s Red Line are experiencing delays Monday morning because of a disabled train at the Wheaton station.

Trains are sharing a track between Wheaton and Forest Glen. There are delays in both directions.
