Thq And LucasArts Announce Exclusive Game Boy Color And Game Boy Advance Agreement

2000 AND 2001 GAME BOY COLOR RELEASES INCLUDE STAR WARS®: OBI WAN'S ADVENTURES™AND INDIANA JONES® AND THE INFERNAL MACHINE™

THQ Inc. (NASDAQ NMS: THQI) and LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC today announced an exclusive, worldwide third-party agreement providing THQ the rights to publish Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance Games based on LucasArts' popular properties. The first two Game Boy Color titles anticipated for release under the new agreement include Obi Wan's Adventures in fall 2000 and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine in spring 2001.

The deal also grants THQ the rights to develop four additional LucasArts properties for Game Boy Advance. Obi Wan's Adventures and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine are being developed by LucasArts and will be distributed and published worldwide by THQ.

"The LucasArts' entertainment properties include some of the most widely recognized motion picture adventures in the world," stated Tim Walsh, senior vice president of international publishing, THQ. "We look forward to adding such high profile properties to our Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance libraries."
