I'm pretty sure Kaczynski still believes in gravity too.

So I expect we'll see the whole of the Heartland Institute stepping off the top of tall buildings any day now... Unless they're all twisted, murderous douchenozzles like Ted, of course!

Though actually this is pretty uplifting. The Heartland Institute has all that money and resources, and this is the best argument against AGW they could manage. Seriously. It's like when creationists start trotting out "[some bad man] was a Darwinist" arguments, not only do you know that's all they've got, they know it too!

Both are tacit admissions that they've lost the scientific, factual argument and only have emotional appeals left.

And Hitler ate sugar. What's your point?

I see that, having got reamed by all and sundry, Heartland is now falling back on the 'it was just a joke' defense. Lame, dudes, lame as a very lame thing.

-_- Seriously?

Just because Kaczynski is crazy doesn't mean he's stupid.

The Unabomber believes in anthropogenic global warming. Ergo, everyone who believes in anthropogenic global warming, including 99.9% of all scientists*, is a homicidal luddite. Yeah, that makes a ton of sense.

*the other 0.1% is scientists who take their paychecks from companies doing the polluting responsible for global warming. No conflict of interest there.

Dahmer Is Baptized In Prison Tub
[The Milwaukee Sentinel, front page with color photo, 12 May 94]
by Steven Walters, Sentinel Madison Burear
Madison -- A Madison minister said Wednesday he baptized convicted serial killer Jeffrey L. Dahmer in a state prison whirlpool Tuesday afternoon.

Ratcliff said he believes Dahmer made a true spiritual decision to be baptized.

Convinced of Dahmer's sincerity, Ratcliff said, he will begin meeting with Dahmer at 1:30p.m. Wednesdays, starting next week, to read and study the Bible together.

Dahmer has confessed to killing 17 young men and boys.

On April 1, Mott said, Dahmer typed her a note, thanked her for the Bible and the study lessons, and added:
"I want to accept the Lord. Would you please try to find someone to bring a baptistry tank to the prison?"
In that letter, Dahmer also signed a statement acknowledging that he wanted to accept Christ, Mott said.

Mott said Dahmer also sent her the completed Bible study lessons, which she "graded."
"He did very well," she said of the lessons. "He had to miss two or three (questions), out of 12 lessons."

When prison officials offered the whirlpool, Ratcliff said, he and Dahmer agreed.
Mott said Ratcliff phoned her after Tuesday's ceremony.
"It was just real exciting," she said. "It's all to glorify God."
In his career as a minister and evangelist, Ratcliff said, he has baptized people "in rivers and creeks," but never anyone "so well-known."
Dahmer "seemed to understand very clearly what needed to be done," Ratcliff added.

At least it's not a Godwin. Improvement?

Ironically, for all of his faults, Kaczynski backed up his positions with actual facts and observations.

Hitler believed in Jesus. Do you?

We need one with Hitler saying "I Oppose Abortion. Why Dont You?"

If Hitler were alive today, he'd believe in global warming. You don't want to be like Hitler, do you?

@David B.
They've ALWAYS lost the factual argument. Nothing has changed there.

@D Laurier
Please, make that now. I for one would love to see it.

Oh my god, Hitler believed in gravity! If you want to prove that you're not Hitler then you have to take a flying leap off a bridge.

Unless you're a climate scientist yourself, you have no rational choice but to accept the word of those who are. The vast majority of them agree that global climate change is real, and a lot of the ones who don't are supported by the energy industry, which has a financial stake in denying it. So that makes the Unabomber more rational than the Republican Party.

The Northwest Passage is open these days.
I wonder why?

Unacceptable as that pic is, they're still slightly behind in the 'tackiest ideologue' stakes.
They took theirs down after 24 hours, and correctly claim they were responding in kind to what their opponents have been doing to them since July 2011.

From this photograph I can determine that,

Hitler liked dogs.

Hitler wore trousers.

Hitler liked scenic views.

Hitler wore hats...

need I say more?

What do they mean with "still believe"? Global Warming is the new discovery, idiots!
It's like saying "Do you still believe in the germ theory?".

@1401102

Wait a minute... I like dogs, scenic views, and most days I wear trousers. That means...

I also want to share this with you guys:

"The people who still believe in man-made global warming are mostly on the radical fringe of society. This is why the most prominent advocates of global warming aren’t scientists. They are murderers, tyrants, and madmen."
-Heartland Institute press release

Considering Kaczynski's views on scientists, intellectuals and liberals (hint: he doesn't like them), he has more in common with the Heartland than any of the above mentioned groups.

It's a shallow smear tactic whose misinformation can be debunked after a few minutes of research. Unfortunately most billboard readers are either too stupid or lazy to make the effort.
