Evan Peters seems to know his way around a porn shop.
Before anyone gets the wrong idea, the 26-year-old actor wants to stress it was all for his gig as a sex shop employee in indie film "Adult World," opening Friday.
"It was a little awkward, it was pretty funny working around dildos and butt plugs. The bunny tail butt plug was my favorite," he told the Daily News of the racy paraphernalia on set.

"I think the funniest thing was ragging on Scott Coffey, the director, just joking around with him and making fun of what he may use in his bedroom."
Peters was not officially dating his "Adult World" co-star Emma Roberts during filming, but his first meeting with his eventual fiancée did directly lead to him being cast in the movie.
"We met at a Mexican restaurant at a dinner party," Peters recalled. "It was before the film that I met her and really liked her. I had read the script for 'Adult World' and she said she was doing that next. I told her, 'I should audition for that and see if I could get in there.'

"So I put myself on tape, and Scott and Emma liked it so they put me in the film."
It was the latest in a string of parts for Peters, a veteran in the biz since he got his first big acting break at the age of 15 in the independent film, "Clipping Adam." That movie "gave my parents hope and me hope that I could keep doing this," he said.
He went on to star in more television and film and landed a permanent role on FX's "American Horror Story" in 2011.

"I really loved working (with Roberts) in 'Adult World,'" Peters told The News of his wife-to-be, who plays an aspiring poet forced to work in the titular shop. "During shooting we both really liked each other so it was a little difficult to work."
The rest is history.
The couple, who have since shared the TV screen as co-star on "American Horror Story," began dating in spring 2012 after the film had wrapped.
The duo reportedly got engaged over the holidays and their romance in real life matches the chemistry they showcase in "Adult World." Case in point: Peters has their Valentine's Day all mapped out.
"We are going to see movie get some dinner," says Peters, who will next be seen in the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past." "We like it to keep it pretty casual on Valentine's Day. It's just nice to go see a romantic movie, and I'll get her flowers and jewelry, a little something."
