Yes, but most importantly under the contidion that people don't really indulge in the alternatives to video games. Some common alternatives to playing video games are sports, doing that childhood activity of building crafts in the forest and so on. Perhaps drawing pictures or something. That is what I feel is the major difference between myself, who plays limited amounts of video games, versus someone who has to spend many hours playing MMORPGs, I know and feel comfortable with the real world possibilities around me, while others haven't tried looking in that area.
