Smokey Robinson: Miracles get inducted into Rock Hall

CLEVELAND -

Smokey Robinson has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1987. But he says the honor has always felt incomplete - because the Miracles weren't in with him.

That's changed, now that the group has been inducted in the sidemen category. Robinson helped usher in the group during Saturday's induction ceremony. He says while the Rock Hall honor is a great one, he always felt it was something he and the Miracles should share.

Robinson also says there was never any beef between him and his group when he was inducted without them - because they love each other.

Besides his own group, the Miracles, Robinson inducted Buddy Holly's The Crickets, James Brown's The Famous Flames and Bill Hailey's The Comets.
