Mayor Denis Coderre’s Équipe Denis Coderre pour Montréal spent $1.168 million on the nearly two-month campaign to the Nov. 3 election, outstripping second-place finisher Projet Montréal, led by Richard Bergeron, which spent $898,383.
 
He was the only mayoral candidate to eschew posters in the November election, but Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre still managed to outspend his rivals on the campaign, the political parties' newly released election-spending reports show.
