He has an Advanced Diploma in Screenwriting and was the founding Artistic Director of ScreenPlay at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, where his acclaimed script reading programme has featured everyone from John Wood to Nadine Garner. He also served on the board of the Australian Screenwriters Conference.
