We Break Down 21 Applause-Worthy Facts About Lady Gaga's Eye Popping Fashion

Gaga has only performed live a handful of times in connection with her third studio album, Artpop, and has only one date (a December 8th show in London) scheduled before her Roseland residency. Still, if the pop star's recent gigs at the MTV Video Music Awards and iTunes Festival, as well as her poignant performance at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards, are any indication expect Gaga to bring the theatrics and plenty of emotion. Who knows: maybe she'll even bring the flying dress from her recent "ArtRave."

This past weekend, Gaga did double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, poking fun at herself, playing out an array of characters and even bringing out R. Kelly for a steamy performance of their Artpop collaboration, "Do What U Want."

“Rump Shaker”

Wreckx-N-Effect | 1992

Wreckx-N-Effect are best known for this paean to the posterior, which features the classic refrain "All I want to do/Is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom in a boom-boom." Rumors have floated around that a young, pre-Neptunes Pharrell Williams actually produced the song, but actual producer Ty Fyffe laid that to rest. "Me and [Teddy Riley] are the only producers that did that song," he explained. "A lot of people got credit ... shouts out to Pharrell; he was down with the camp back in the day. But he really didn't produce 'Rumpshaker.' No disrespect; Pharrell's a genius ... But he only wrote Ted's rap."
