Léa was born the 1st July of 1985 in Paris. She grew up between Paris and Senegal, where her mother still lives
Very shy, she decided with a friend to take some theatre course at the Enfants Terribles where she was for a year. Afterwards she attended a theatre run by Corine Blue, which is similar to the Actors Studio, which led her to audition for a few film roles.
In 2006, she got a part in the movie Vielle Maîtresse by Catherine Breillat. Directly after that she won a role in Jean Pierre Mocky’s movie, 13 French Street and more recently she shot a short movie for Nicolas Klotz - La Consolation which was presented at the Festival de Cannes in 2007.
In 2008, she stared with Samy Naceri in Des Poupées et des Anges, and then with Guillaume Depardieu for the movie De la guerre by Bertrant Bonello. Followed by a role with Louis Garel in La belle personne by Christophe Honoré for which she is nominated for the Cesars.
At the Chopard Award in 2009, she gets the one of the woman revelation.
Recently, we have seen her with Brad Pitt in Quentin Tarentino’s movie, Inglorious Bastards.
At the end of 2009 she will be on the screen for Plein Sud by Sébastien Lifshitz and in Lourdes by Jessica Hausner
She is currently filming Ridley Scott’s adaptation Robin Hood called Nottingham. Playing with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, where she will play Isabelle d’Aquitaine.
