The Act of Killing, the Danish film telling the true story of Indonesian death squads, took outstanding feature at the7th Annual Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Filmmaking.

Sarah Polley won directing honors for her doc Stories We Tell, while Cutie and the Boxer – about a relationship between two New York artists – won three honors, including outstanding debut for director Zachary Heinzerling.
