Ostuni, Primavera back on track

Bucaro’s men beat the local representative side 5-0 and remain on course for the semi-finals. Lecce next up this evening

The Primavera needed to redeem themselves, and they did so in style. Following the opening game defeat to Parma, the Primavera were looking for a way back to see them through to the semi-finals. The Bianconeri put in a solid performance against Rappresentativa Ostuni and ran out 5-0 winners, with Libertazzi netting a hat-trick. Boniperti also found the target, as did Germano, a loan player added to Bucaro’s squad for the tournament.

Parma and Lecce drew 1-1 in the other game of the group. The result brings the teams closer together in the table, but still doesn’t change Juve’s objective. To reach Saturday’s semi-final, the young Bianconeri need to win tonight’s game against Lecce (9pm, San Pancrazio).
