Scarlett Johansson has picked up the Best
Actress Tony Award for her Broadway performance in Arthur Miller's
A View From The Bridge. Accepting her gong in NY, the star said:
"Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be on Broadway, and
here I am." She also went on to thank her husband Ryan Reynolds, or "the Canadian I live with",
saying: "Thank you for being a theatre widower for me."
Other winners of the prestigious Broadway award were Denzel
Washington, for his role in Fences and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was named Best
Musical Actress for her role in A Little Night Music. "I really do
feel like Cinderella," she said before thanking her husband Michael Douglas, whom she called "a movie star,
and I get to sleep with him every night."
