Smathers Libraries' Government Documents collection to relocate

The George A. Smathers Libraries Government Documents collection is being permanently relocated to the off-campus Auxiliary Library Facility (ALF). The move will be completed by March 21 and documents can be requested from the collection beginning March 31. During the time the collection is inaccessible, the Regional Documents Coordinator and other campus library information desk staff will assist patrons with electronic access to government documents, or in conjunction with Interlibrary Loan staff, borrow materials from the University of Central Florida or the University of Georgia.   Learn more...

Latin American and Caribbean Collection has moved to a new space

The Latin American and Caribbean Collection, previously located on the 4th floor of Smathers Library (East), has moved to the renovated 3rd floor. Access is by the stairs or elevator.

Lost Item Replacement Policy

We replace items lost by patrons with an exact copy, an updated edition of the title, or a similar title. We do not refund replacement costs or overdue fines for items that are returned after replacement copies are ordered.
