A demonstration of the mechanics of the splatter brushes. In brown squares are the initial seeds; everything that spawns MUST be connected to one of these somehow. The red squares represent the first iteration of growth from the seeds. Not every neighbor of the seeds will necessarily spawn a new voxel. The orange and yellow squares represent the second and third iterations of growth, respectively. Note that later iterations are likely to fill in gaps left by earlier iterations. It is also worth mentioning that the iteration number is also an indicator of the maximum number of steps away from the seed that a given voxel may be.
