About.me offers an easy way to embed your about.me page on Tumblr. For example:

You can embed your about.me page either as a post or as part of your theme.

Through the Embed This Page dialog, you can customize the Embed code to hide or show certain parts of your about.me page. Just click on the + sign to expand the Options. 

Embedding in a Post

To embed your page in a post, switch to the HTML editor and paste the Embed code in the editor. 

Embedding in Your Theme

To embed your page in your theme's description, go to your Tumblr settings and choose Customize for your theme. Paste the Embed code into the Description and click on Save. 

Your about.me page will be embedded at the top, bottom, or as a sidebar depending on your Tumblr theme. For example:

• Easy Reader 2 places the description at the top of the page.
  
• Fluid places the description in a sidebar on the right.  
  
• Catching Elephant places the description in a sidebar on the left.
  
• Asterism places the description at the bottom of the page.
  

Note:  Although most themes display the embedded about.me page correctly, the following free themes do not fully support the embedded page: Art She Said, Atonement v2.0, Beta Prime, Field Notes, GreyMatters, Kalalalani, Minimal, Organ, Panda Classics Recycled, Paper Stacks, Prologue, Syndex, and Vignelli.
