Sadie Frost's fashion design vehicle FrostFrench has had a turbulent life so far.

Founded in 1999 by Frost and her best friend Jemima French, it was plummeted into administration in 2008 before being brought back from the brink, only to face yet more difficulties in 2010 and 2011 when both of its stores, in London's Islington and Soho, closed and the company all but disappeared.

Now, three years on, the duo is to revive the ready-to-wear label once again, with a new collection launching in September, suggesting it may get a showing at London Fashion Week.

"We have our first design meeting next week so it's hard to imagine what it will be like until we're actually back in a room together working on it again. It doesn't seem real yet!" Frost told Vogue.co.uk .

Though FrostFrench has been dormant for a while, the friends have continued to work on the brand's swimwear, lingerie and nightwear lines for Debenhams, called Floozie and Iris & Edie.

"The collection will be a progression of what the brand was before; because I still think there is a gap in the market between casual and dressy. I've loved fashion all my life - I love Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood, Isabel Marant - but I'm still wearing those dresses that I wore 20 years ago," added Frost.

Frost, who is also an actress and the former wife of Jude Law, has most recently been starring in immersive circus show Fuerzabruta at London's Roundhouse.
