A code notifiable development application fits within the rules set out in the Codes of City Plan. It can be assessed relatively quickly and must be publicly notified.

Development approval compliance assessment

Compliance Assessment is a development assessment process introduced for the assessment of compliance with conditions imposed on a development approval where those conditions require the submission of drawings and/or documents for the approval of Council.

Impact assessable generally appropriate development application

An Impact Assessable Generally Appropriate Development Application is for development where it is considered that adverse impacts can usually be mitigated to acceptable levels and must be publicly notified.

Impact assessable generally inappropriate development application

An Impact Assessable Generally Inappropriate Development Application is for development not specifically envisaged by City Plan and must be publicly notified.
