GRIMSBY’S Ella Henderson has been causing quite a stir across the country today, with a new campaign to launch her debut single Ghost.

Colourful artwork has popped up around the country – including in Grimsby’s Victoria Street – and the teen star made an appearance in London after posting clues to her whereabouts on her social networking sites.

The Tetney 18-year-old – who shot to fame on the X-Factor, will release the single later this month, and her debut album, Chapter One, in the Autumn.

She’s spent the last 18 months since leaving X-Factor travelling the globe perfecting the record, and working with some of the biggest names in the business.

Music guru Simon Cowell himself tweeted last month “The Ella Henderson album is nearly finished. She has made an amazing album”.

She told the Telegraph today: “It was an early start but I just wanted to bring my music to the fans in a way that hasn’t been done before and hopefully it has been exciting too for those who are unware of my music.

“It’s been a very creative process and I spent a lot of time going through colour schemes to get the artwork just right so it reflected my personality.

“It’s been fun to see the crowds of people gathering around the Ghost Trail signs and picking up clues – it all creates a buzz.”

You can read our entertainment reporter Haseeb Malik’s full interview with Ella in tomorrow’s Telegraph, and of course, in full on here tomorrow.

They talk about life, love, music, and of course, Cowell himself.

Don’t miss it.

And the meantime, have a listen to Ghost and tell us what you think.
