Solid Waste Licensing & Inspection Program licenses and inspects solid waste facilities in the City of Columbus in accordance with chapters 3745-27, 3745-28, 3745-30, 3745-31 and 3745-37 of the Ohio Administrative Code. The program applies to all solid waste transfer stations, tire shredder, and compost facilities.

Color-Coded Signage At all of our licensed facilities, including solid waste facilities, we now post a small color-coded sign that is based on the results of the most recent inspection. For more information, call (614) 645-7005.
