Regional Programs

Linux is a global community and The Linux Foundation is at the forefront, promoting Linux through our regional programs and events that we host throughout the world, and by bringing together international developers to work together to continue the already fantastic progress of the Linux platform.

Japan

With the help of our platinum members from Japan -- Fujitsu, Hitachi and NEC -- the Linux Foundation is helping promote the Linux platform and increase participation of Japanese developers in the Linux community. Besides seminars and workgroups, the Linux Foundation office in Japan also produces LinuxCon Japan.
