In 1991, the Council of Fashion Designers of America in New York bestowed a prestigious industry award to Karen and Harley-Davidson for fashion influence.
Karen Davidson has a strong natural instinct about the mystique of Harley-Davidson from a lifetime of living the Harley-Davidson experience. Karen is the great-granddaughter of the company’s co-founder, William A. Davidson, and has been riding motorcycles since she was nine.
Karen started working at Harley-Davidson Motor Company in 1989 when the Company created a new, branded line of apparel and accessories for its customers – Harley-Davidson MotorClothes. Today, Karen is the Creative Director for General Merchandise and is involved with the creative direction of all the leather collections and accessory products.
