Breton Fisher--June, of Santa Barbara, CA.,died unexpectedly last weekend. She was the wife of the late J. Robert Breton and Maurice L. Fisher. Born in New York City on March 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Henry Goldman Jr. and Adrienne (Straus) Goldman. A graduate of the Brearley School, she attended Bryn Mawr. After college, she worked for a fashion copywriter, then as a lyricist and in public relations. After her first marriage to Mr. Breton, a Broadway actor who went on to become a television producer and director, she moved to Mamaroneck, NY, and then to Greenwich, Conn. After Mr. Breton died, she and Mr. Fisher formed Ridgewater Partners, and for many years, they designed and escorted luxury golf trips around the world. Mrs. Fisher was an inveterate traveler, avid golfer and bridge player. But her greatest accomplishment was achieved while she was in her 80s. What started out as a story for family turned into the book, "When Money Was In Fashion: Henry Goldman, Goldman Sachs and the Founding of Wall Street," published in 2010. The book was a biography of her grandfather, Henry Goldman, the son of the founder of Goldman Sachs. She is survived by three daughters, Tracy Breton, of Cranston, RI, Brooke Breton, of Pacific Palisades, CA, and Cynthia Breton of Burlington, VT; a son, Taylor Breton, of Florida; a grandson, Devon Breton Pakozdi; and a brother, Henry Goldman of Colorado Springs, CO.
